GR Engineering wins $30m contract

GR Engineering Services has been awarded a key contract by Doray Minerals over the Andy Well gold project in Meekatharra.

Belmont-based GR will provide the engineering, procurement and construction for the project’s processing plant, with the contract valued at $30.3 million.

“Following our appointment as preferred contractor in July 2012, it is pleasing to have now formalised our contractual arrangements with Doray. Work on the Andy Well gold project is already underway and is proceeding on time and on budget,” GR managing director Joe Ricciardo said.

News of the contract win saw the share price of GR gain 2c to close at 86.5c on Friday, and at 1052 AWST, the company’s share price was at 90c.
