Global Construction Services has been announced as Probuild Constructions’ preferred contractor for the QEII medical centre car park project.
GCS Group’s formwork division, CASC, will provide formwork and concrete installation for the project, under a $30 million deal.
The contract has a two year term and will commence later this month.
Managing director Enzo Gullotti said the contract was a major boost for GCS and the CASC business.
“We are delighted to have been successful in our bid to Probuild on a significant government infrastructure project in Western Australia,” Mr Gullotti said in a statement.
“Revenue will be bokked in the next two financial years, providing GCS with a solid platform for continued growth.”
The scope of the project involves the construction of a seven-storey multi-deck car park on the corner of Abedare and Winthrop roads.
The carpark will be opened progressively from late next year.
