New Notre Dame Australia academic Professor Geoff Kiel has received a federal grant to examine the increasingly high profile area of corporate governance. University of Notre Dame Australia senior deputy vice chancellor and dean of the Fremantle Campus School of Business, Professor Geoff Kiel is the chief investigator in a project which has won a Discovery Grant from the Australian Research Council. The project is titled ‘Director identity, identification and information flows as predictors of board monitoring, resource provision and organisational performance.’ As a director, consultant to many boards and author of two books and numerous publications on corporate governance, Professor Kiel is acknowledged as an expert in corporate governance.
