Fortescue Metals Group founder and chair Andrew Forrest has seen his stake in the miner increase $249 million in value over the past four weeks, according to data on directors’ shareholdings tracked by Business News.

Fortescue Metals Group founder and chair Andrew Forrest has seen his stake in the miner increase $249 million in value over the past four weeks, according to data on directors’ shareholdings tracked by Business News.

Mr Forrest, whose total directors shareholdings equate to more than $5.34 billion, registered a 4 per cent rise in his portfolio and remains the top ranked director on the list.

Mr Forrest controls a third of Fortescue through a range of vehicles, including Minderoo Group, Forest Family Investments (Peepingee Trust) and Tattarang Investment Trust.

Seven Group Holdings executive chairman Kerry Stokes had a rise of $78.7 million in his portfolio, representing about a 2 per cent increase, taking his total value to $3.23 billion.

On the other end of the scale, Computershare founder Chris Morris’s portfolio fell $26.5 million over the last four weeks, taking his total director shareholdings to $592.3 million.

United Overseas Australia co-founder Chong Soon Kong had his shareholdings fall more than $9 million to sit at $635 million, third highest on the list.

Titan Capital Partners founder Harry Karelis’s director shareholdings spiked 128 per cent, or $18 million, with solid share price rises for Zelda Therapeutics, where he is executive chairman, and AusCann Holdings, where he was an executive director until last year.

Mr Karelis is now ranked 45 on the Directors Shareholdings list with a portfolio value of $32.9 million.

Another significant portfolio rise included Argosy Minerals managing director Jerko Zuvela’s 76 per cent surge, giving him a total value of $30 million.
