Former Fosters Group president and chief executive officer Trevor O'Hoy has joined the board of IT services provider ASG Group.
Former Fosters Group president and chief executive officer Trevor O'Hoy has joined the board of IT services provider ASG Group.
Mr O'Hoy joined Carlton and United Breweries in 1976 and during his 28 years of service he worked as chief financial officer and managing director.
ASG Group chairman Ron Baxter said he was delighted to welcome to the board an individual of Mr O'Hoy's calibre.
"Trevor brings substantial additional experience to ASG at a time when the business is set to enter an extensive growth phase," Mr Baxter said.
Mr O'Hoy said he is looking forward to helping ASG continue to grow profitably.
"The Board's role is not be involved in the day-to-day running of the company but rather to provide strategic counsel, governance advice and succession planning to ensure ASG maintains its excellent market position and maximises future growth opportunities," Mr O'Hoy said.
Mr O'Hoy currently sits on the Board of Cricket Australia and RACV.

IT services provider ASG Group (ASX: ASZ) today announces the appointment of Mr Trevor O'Hoy as a Non-Executive Director on the ASG Board.
ASG Group Chairman Ron Baxter said he was delighted to welcome to the Board an individual of Mr O'Hoy's calibre.

Mr O'Hoy is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of Fosters Group, a position he held between 2004 and 2008. He joined Carlton and United Breweries (a division of Fosters Group) in 1976 and during his 28 years of continuous service, he served as Chief Financial Officer and Managing Director. Mr O'Hoy said he is looking forward to helping ASG continue to grow profitably.
