A DISPLAY showing proposals for the development of the Swan River Foreshore will be released to the public on October 15 and October 29 at Point Fraser.
Perth City Council staff will discuss the plans with the public.
The display can also be viewed at Council House from 8.30am to 5pm on weekdays between October 13 and November 10.
Lord Mayor Peter Nattrass said the development of Point Fraser aimed to spark new vitality into the foreshore area and establish more significant CBD-foreshore links.
“Council has already adopted the Foreshore Action Plan and one of its key elements is to develop Point Fraser as a major visitor location with a broad range of recreational facilities,” Dr Nattrass said.
Council has budgeted $220,000 for the design of the first stage of the Point Fraser Development.
