Focus pressing ahead with gold estimation at Tindals

Western Australian-based gold company Focus Minerals Ltd and its joint venture partner, Canada's Committee Bay Resources Ltd, today announced the commencement of resource estimation work at the Tindals mining centre, at the Coolgardie Gold project in WA.

The Focus and Committee Bay Redemption joint venture has also purchased a 33 per cent interest in Kalgoorlie-based Underground Drilling and Services Pty Ltd, to ensure drill availability for the joint venture at all times.

The Tindals mining centre, which is located in close proximity to the Three Mile Hill treatment facility at Coolgardie, is regarded by the Redemption joint venture as a potential key source for a high-grade long-term gold operation at Coolgardie.

Focus managing director Peter Williams said the recently completed underground diamond drilling program had more than doubled the identified zone of mineralisation at the site to over 200m.
