Fleetcare will join Easi and Fleetnetwork, both also based in Westen Australia, as a preferred supplier of fleet management services for local governments across the state.

The WA Local Government Association, which awarded the contract, is the peak body for 138 local governments in the state.

The contract will run until May 2022 and will cover 22,000 local government employees.

Business News understands the three companies will provide about 5,000 vehicles under the agreement.

Fleetcare chief executive Nigel Malcolm said the company was pleased with to be selected.

“The award of this contract further reiterates the confidence in our ability to provide exceptional fleet leasing services to all WA government, both state and local,” he said.

Last year, the WA Department of Finance’s fleet procurement division (State Fleet), awarded Fleetcare the sole supplier for the contract provision of fleet management services to all WA state government departments and agencies.

Fleetcare says it services more than 45,000 vehicles nationally with offices in all major capital cities.
