Finch to head up new museum

The WA Museum has appointed Julie Finch as project director of its new museum development.

Ms Finch is currently the director of the Bristol Museum in the United Kingdom and has over a decade of experience in museum management.

Two creative directors have also been appointed in Bill Seager and Trish McDonald. Construction of the new museum, to be built at the existing site in the Perth Cultural Centre, is expected to start in 2016.
