On Friday August 22 the Perth Convention Bureau is running a seminar titled the Festival of Ideas: Charting a Future Direction For Perth and Surrounds Tourism, in the Swan Room at the Parmelia Hilton Hotel.
The Festival of Ideas is an initiative of the Perth Convention Bureau to help identify ideas to include in a submission for the Perth Convention Bureau to become the organisation responsible for leisure tourism marketing for the proposed new Perth and surrounds tourism zone.
The Festival of Ideas will feature keynote speakers such as Manny Papadoulis, John Longley AM, Kate Lamont, John Poynton and Cr. Lisa Scaffidi who will speak on themes such as, Beyond ‘Dullsville’: What’s Special About Perth and Surrounds; Links Beyond Tourism: Where Are The Opportunities For New Alliances?; and Don’t Forget About Us: How Do We Build On Existing Alliances?
