FOUR Western Australians have been appointed to the board of directors of the Nedlands-based Lions Eye Institute – the largest eye research organisation in the southern hemisphere.
The new directors are:
Freehills partner John Atkins;
BHP Billiton North West Shelf operations group director William Bloking;
Government Employees’ Superannuation Board CEO Michelle Dolin and
Global Carbon chairman and former Western Power managing director David Eiszele
They will join institute director Professor Ian Constable, board chairman Brian King and Ernst & Young partner Gary Angove who continue to hold board positions.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the institute.
