Evans & Tate Limited has bought its eastern States’ wine distributor Wine Source for an undisclosed amount.
Wine Source has an annual turnover of more than $25 million and sales of more than 270,000 cases a year through operations in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Canberra.
It distributes wine throughout eastern Australia on behalf of Evans & Tate and other Australian and New Zealand Brands, including Voyager Estate.
Wine Source was owned by Andrew Cameron, Peter Crannage and Melbourne-based wine distributor the Casama Group.
Evans & Tate executive chairman Franklin Tate said he hoped to have the acquisition completed by the end of July.
Evans & Tate plans to make rename WA distribution management Wine Source WA.
