Minerals testing company Essa Australia has clashed with global firm SGS over a $3.2 million outstanding payment over a contract related to automation projects.
Essa today said a contractual dispute has arisen with SGS relating to the project and additional claims.
Last month, Essa said it was chasing an outstanding amount of $3.2 million from a client in relation to automation projects, including $1.8 million as a trade receivable and $1.4 million as work in progress.
Essa today said it was endeavouring to resolve the dispute on commercial terms.
Shares in Essa closed down 4.5 cents to 25.5c today.
