Environmental enforcement unit

The WA Government is to form a unit dedicated to environmental enforcement and prosecution under State laws.

The Environmental Enforcement Unit will have nine-members, led by a senior prosecutor.

Other members will include a principal investigator, senior investigations officer, three investigations officers, two licence review officers, and a legal officer.

A compliance and enforcement database will be made available to the public.
