Energy Milestones Dinner
The Western Australian Branch of the Australian Institute of Energy is holding a Celebration of Energy Milestones Dinner on Wednesday February 18 at Frasers Restaurant, Kings Park.
The dinner is to be a celebration of the 25th anniversary of the founding of the Australian Institute of Energy and a time to recognize the importance of the energy sector in Western Australia; reflect on the 30th anniversary of the dramatic increase in oil prices by OPEC; and celebrate the 20th anniversary of the delivery of natural gas from the North West Shelf Project, through the Dampier to Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline, to Perth and the domestic market.
The guest speaker for the dinner will be former Premier of Western Australia Sir Charles Court who has been a strong and active supporter of the development of the energy industry in Western Australia since the very early days, and many of the developments that we see today can be attributed to the policies and encouragement of Sir Charles.
Registration for the dinner can be made with the Western Australian Branch of the Australian Institute of Energy for $60 for members or $110 for non-members, for further information or to register phone Adrienne Wright on 9332 2525 or email registrationswa@aie.org.au
