IT services provider Empired has signed a deal to purchase Sydney-based customer relationship management firm eSavvy for $2.2 million.
eSavvy employs 18 staff and provides customer relationship management consulting services, predominantly to large corporate clients.
It was recognised as global Microsoft Dynamics cloud partner of the year in 2013 and is expected to deliver revenue of about $3.4 million in the 2014 financial year.
Empired said the purchase would position the company as the largest Microsoft Dynamics customer relationship management partner in Australia.
The purchase includes an initial payment of $700,000 and three subsequent payments of $500,000 over a three-year period.
Empired managing director Russell Baskerville said the purchase would build on the company's strong relationship with Microsoft.
"It is an exciting period for Empired and acquisitions like this provide us with access to new high growth markets and services with low risk and low capital cost," he said.
"These services combined with our exensive client base of medium to large enterprise customers, together with our focused national sales team, will provide another growth platform for Empired."
Empired shares were steady at 55.5 cents at 12:33pm WST.
