Emerson Stewart Group Ltd has executed a memorandum of understanding with Bovis Lend Lease Consulting to jointly pursue program and project management opportunities arising through the WA Government's Strategic Projects initiative.
In February 2008, the WA Government announced the establishment of the Office of Strategic Projects to oversee the delivery of several of the State's complex and long term projects including the $1.1 billion outdoor stadium at Kitchener Park in Subiaco and the new $500 million museum at the site of the former East Perth Power Station.
Emerson Stewart, which recently listed on the ASX, is building a strong capability across the infrastructure, resources and energy sectors.
This arrangement with Bovis complements the Company's strategy to develop its buildings business.
Emerson Stewart's Managing Director, Dario Amara said that the MOU is a clear validation of the strength of the Company's strategic business plan and the depth of its team of people.
