Retailer Ed Hardy has been placed in voluntary administration.
Deloitte partners Simon Wallace-Smith and Tim Norman have been appointed administrators.
The administrators have already closed four Ed Hardy stores, two in Queensland, one in South Australia and one in Queensland.
Ed Hardy operates one store in Perth, in the basement of Myer Perth which will remain open for trading while the company is in voluntary administration.
Three stores in Victoria, one in New South Wales and one in Queensland will also remain open.
It has 10 stockists in Western Australia.
Administrator Mr Wallace-Smith said the appointment has been brought about by slowing sales and the competitive nature of the retail industry.
"The aim of the voluntary administrators will be to evaluate the financial position of the companies and to investigate options to restructure the business," he said.
