A NEW venture to facilitate networking among like-minded local businesses has opened in East Perth with the establishment by businessman Calvin Henry of the East Perth Success Club.
Mr Henry said the aim of the club was to improve local trade among members, discuss local issues, support a nominated cause and to foster friendship and goodwill in the area.
“The purpose of this group is to network and to make new friends and meet fellow members of the community,’ Mr Henry said.
“It’s about enthusiastic people who are excited about East Perth. If there is an issue that arises then we as a group may be able to do something, rather than as single traders.”
The facilitation of the club will take place in the form of monthly meetings. Guest speakers for the next meeting, to be held on June 13, will include East Perth Redevelopment Authority chief executive officer Tony Morgan and The Gateway project director Chris Melsom.
