East Perth gains set to continue

EAST Perth will continue to enjoy strong price growth as long as more commercial and shopping facilities are incorporated into the area, says Hegney Property Valuations managing director Gavin Hegney.

“In East Perth today, there is a noticeable lack of commercial facilities and retail shopping,” Mr Hegney said.

“The next stage of development requires these facilities to emerge.”

“The main commercial strip is rapidly establishing itself including 1,200 square metres of commercial space on the corner of Plain and Royal Streets due for completion within twelve months.

A liquor store, supermarket, restaurants and further retail shopping along Royal Street will also be established in the next year.

“The completion and opening up of this commercial accommodation is imperative to the next phase of growth further improving infrastructure in East Perth,” Mr Hegney said.
