Early sales encouraging for Pindan Group

PINDAN Property Group has sold more than a third of the first stage of its $12 million Leeuwin Resort project in Margaret River.

The developer has sold seven out of 18 townhouses under a special deal where the first 10 early-bird buyers were offered a $22,500 cash-back incentive. Group marketing manager Colin Paine said the deal was offered because 10 pre-sales were required to generate initial finance for construction.

Construction will begin early next year and Pindan is hoping to have the first stage completed by the end of 2002.

Mr Paine had high expectations of the Leeuwin Resort, saying the unique project would cater to an unmet market.

“The Margaret River wine region has been crying out for large family sized accommodation for years,” he said.

The 18 townhouses and 22 apartments all have a three bedroom, two-bathroom layout and are priced from $249,850 to $322,350.
