WESTERN Australian public company ERG has secured a $100 million contract in the United States just a week after winning a $320 million contract to supply the NSW Government with a new smart card ticketing system.
The Perth firm has reached agreement with six US public transport agencies to establish a fare collecting system covering Seattle and the Central Pugent Sound area of Washington State. The Seattle region generates around 130 million passenger journeys per year and more than $264 million in annual passenger revenues.
