THE East Perth Redevelopment Authority is spending time looking at what influence the authority’s actions could have on the market as it enters a new phase of its existence.
EPRA planning and development control manager Chris Melsom briefed the Inner City Housing Developers’ Association on the authority’s role on the Northbridge renewal project.
“We’re looking at the economy and the property market in the regional planning context,” Mr Melsom said.
He said the first stage of the project would start once the submission period closed on 11 July and would focus on developing infrastructure.
“The first stage of land development will probably be in the next financial year,” he said.
