THE East Perth Redevelopment Authority has appointed Jones Lang LaSalle as its sales agent for the Riverside project, following an open tender process. Riverside covers 40 hectares of land on the doorstep of the Perth CBD with river frontages on two sides and adjacent to some of WA’s premier sporting and educational venues, including the Western Australian Cricket Association ground and Trinity College. After the first three lots in the Gateway project offered for sale failed to attract tenders, EPRA has increased the number of lots offered for sale. EPRA CEO Tony Morgan said the authority would release the first six lots at the former Metrobus Depot site to the market in the coming weeks via an expression of interest process. “We are very happy to have Jones Lang LaSalle on board as our Riverside sales agent and we are confident of getting a good response from local and national developers,” Mr Morgan said.
