EC&M wins Windimurra, Worsley deals

Canning Vale-based electrical contracting group EC&M has won two significant electrical and instrumentation contracts, taking its order book for 2011 to around $50 million.

Vanadium miner Atlantic appointed EC&M to undertake electrical and instrumentation installation at its Windimurra project in the Mid West, while EC&M has also commenced the installation for two 57MW multi fuel co-generation units servicing Worsley's Growth and Efficiency upgrade

EC&M spokesman Simon Higgins said the contracts took the company's order book to around $50 million in new work for 2011.

"The project pipeline over the next few years is very strong and EC&M has been preparing for that necessary growth, a corporate branding transition, new purpose built head office facility and the addition of some further diversity within our organisation are some of the measures you will see implemented in the near future," Mr Higgins said.
