EC&M acquires Press Construction Group

Contracting group EC&M has announced the acquisition of Kwinana-based Press Construction Group for an undisclosed sum.

Press Construction Group was established in 1998 and has expertise in engineering design, project management, fabrication, construction, installation, commissioning and shutdowns.

"With ECM's proven 25 year background in electrical and instrumentation the acquisition of Press Construction Group diversifies our scope of services and significantly increases our ability to capitalise on the growth opportunities emanating from the energy, resource and power generation sectors" ECM spokesman Simon Higgins said.

Mr Higgins said the acquisition would enable EC&M to continue to take advantage of an unprecedented period of growth in the resources sector.
