WA-based Dragon Mining has announced a three-year alliance with major Canadian nickel producer Inco to explore ground in Finland. Inco will contribute 50,000 euros towards the project in the first year and 30,000 euros in each of the two years thereafter, allowing it to earn a 50 per cent interest in identified projects by spending the first $US500,000. The alliance excludes tenements and some adjacent land already held by Inco and areas subject to a previous agreement between Dragon and fellow Perth-based explorer Vulcan Resources. Dragon will also be able to continue its own gold exploration activity in the area. Exploration under the alliance will be conducted by Dragon’s wholly-owned subsidiary Polar Mining.
