Doric appoints new division manager

WESTERN Australian construction company Doric has appointed Mark Nicholas (pictured) as its new general manager of engineering and construction. Mr Nichoas was previously business development manager at Macmahon Holdings, a specialist contracting and services group. The appointment follows Doric’s recent alliance with management consulting firm Projenco to target new engineering construction projects around the state. Doric’s first engineering construction contract, the $67 million state government project to build five railway stations along the new southern passenger rail line, is due to be completed shortly.
