DOME has committed to a retail outlet in LandCorp’s Marlston Waterfront development in Bunbury, south of Perth.
The Dome cafe will sit alongside Vat 2, a $4 million restaurant development from the team that created the critically successful Vat 107 in Margaret River.
Marlston’s Dome cafe will be operated by father and son Michael and Craig Brown, who built (and now run) the Dome Cafe at Mandurah.
LandCorp chief executive Ross Hot said Dome joins some of WA’s leading names in the hospitality industry, including Broadwater resorts, in establishing a presence in the area.
“The sale means all lots at Marlston Waterfront, the tourism precinct and final phase in the $27.5 million Marlston Hill redevelopment have now been sold,” he said.
Further retail development at Marlston Waterfront is expected to include tourist-oriented businesses and short-stay accommodation.
