Disability access worth $6b

Estimates have revealed improved access for people with disabilities would add $6 billion to Australia’s gross domestic product

Minister for Family and Community Services Jocelyn Newman said the Australian domestic tourism market has been estimated at $613 million a year for people with disabilities who travel and this figure could quadruple if those travelling with them were included.
