Wesfarmers Ltd managing director Richard Goyder has increased his indirect interest in the company through the award of a long term incentive by the company of 79,838 shares worth $3.3m relating to the 2006/07 company performance. The expense of that issue will be reflected in the 2007/08 annual report. Mr Goyder now owns 269,116 shares valued at $11.4 million on the day of the announcement. Executive and finance director Gene Tilbrook has been awarded 40,040 shares under the same scheme worth $1.6 million. He now owns 231,452 shares valued at $9.8 million on the day of the announcement. Macmahon Holdings Ltd managing director Nick Bowen has realised $4.1 million through the sale of 2.2 million shares of his indirect interest in the company. Mr Bowen’s indirect interest, held through Bowen Welsh Trust, is now 2.3 million shares. His direct interest in the East Perth-based company remains of 8 million shares. Mr Bowen total interest in Macmahon is valued at $19.6 million. Sylvania Resources Ltd chief operating officer Evan Kirby has decreased his direct interest in the mining explorer through the on-market sale of 375,000 shares, realising almost $1.1 million. Mr Kirby now owns 389,300 shares in the West Perth company valued at $953,785, on the day of the announcement.
