Developers target South Perth

South Perth is set for a new wave of property development according to construction and development company J-Corp Projects.

South Perth, which saw a wave of development in the early 1990s, is again being targeted by property developers returning to high quality, low risk areas.

JCP, together with joint venture partner Police and Nurses Credit Society, are targeting high quality projects of up to $2 million in established metropolitan areas.

The companies have recently undertaken two property developments in the South Perth area comprising three town houses in Mill Point Road, South Perth and six units in Park Street, Como. Construction is expected to be completed later this year.

JCP business development manager Greg Tomlin said the South Perth three bedroom, two bathroom townhouses would sell for between $359,000 and $379,000.

“Investors will be attracted by the high rents and low vacancy rates enjoyed in this location with owner occupiers attracted by the city views and the beauty of the Swan River foreshore which is literally a three minute walk from the front door.”
