Developers set to fight for West Perth land

Developers are expected to show keen interest in a 7,416 square metre residential development site in West Perth, agent Jones Lang La Salle says.

Jones Lang La Salle launched a five-week expressions of interest campaign today for the site on Cowle Street, adjacent to Dorrien Gardens.

The land is being offered to the market as two parcels, available individually or combined into one site.

Director of sales and investments Phil Fogliani said the site could potentially be developed into 150 apartments and 9,200sqm of plot ratio.

“This site represents one of the only high density redevelopment offerings currently available in the area,” Mr Fogliani said.

“Recent reports of accelerating demand for inner city apartments and the fact that it is just 1.5km from the CBD further underpins the site’s development credentials.”

Mr Fogliani said he anticipated strong interest from developers looking to create an apartment project, but the site would also suit a small lot subdivision or townhouse build-out.

Expressions of interest close on May 16.
