AFTER being on the cusp of global success, swimwear designer Annette Stivaletta has called it quits.
AFTER being on the cusp of global success, swimwear designer Annette Stivaletta has called it quits.
Ms Stivaletta was the driving force behind swimwear label Stivaletta_all wet.
Stivaletta_all wet marketing director Helina Filipek said Ms Stivaletta had folded the label for “personal reasons”.
The Stivaletta_all wet name burst onto the scene in the 1999 Mercedes Australian Fashion Week.
The company was even on the verge of cutting a deal with London department store Harrods.
US buyers and Singaporean investors were also showing interest.
The label also proved very popular locally with retailers Cottesloe Bathers, Cowboy Electro and Brownies Sun and Surf.
Those outlets cleared almost all their stock.
