On Wednesday November 5 the Rural Media Association of Western Australia in conjunction with the WA Journalists Association is conducting a debate titled Deregulation Debate of the Decade – Is Deregulation Working, at the WA Club.
The debate will focus on the arguments for and against deregulating the Australian grains industry and is an excellent opportunity to meet some of the key players in one of the nations most valuable industries.
The panel of speakers for the debate include WAFarmers president Colin Nichol; AWB Ltd state manager Lisa Wilson; Australian Financial Review journalist Cathy Bolt; ProFarmer managing director Dennis Wise; PGA president Barry Court and Rural Media Association of Western Australia president Tom Murrell who will facilitate the debate.
