Perth-based Decimal Software will provide its financial planning technology to a South Australian industry superannuation fund for an undisclosed sum.
Decimal will provide its pre-configured Equilize solution to Statewide Super under a three-year agreement.
Decimal chief executive Nic Pollock said Statewide Super was precisely the type of organisation for which Equilize had been developed.
“The superannuation sector is embracing digital technology to enhance customer experience,” Mr Pollock said.
“Statewide Super is similar to many providers that understand the benefits digital financial advice provides for extending members services, but as industry super fund, they needed to be sure of the scope, costs and outcomes.
“Equilize is designed to provide surety in those areas while allowing for future scalability of user numbers and advice topics.”
Statewide Super head of member experience Tony D’Alessandro said Decimal’s ability to integrate with other advice channels was a key differentiator that set it apart from other providers.
“One of our drivers was to integrate digital advice with phone as well as internal and third party face-to-face advisory services, which are areas in which other Decimal clients have had success,” he said.
“That omni-channel approach is important for Statewide Super to enable us to provide members with services that suit their individual needs.”
Decimal shares were 6 per cent higher to 5.3 cents each at 11am.
