The Crown Metropol Perth has been rated the city’s finest hotel, but has only just scraped into the top 10 lodgings nationwide, according to travel website Wotif.com.
Rounding out Perth’s top five hotels, according to Wotif, was the Parmelia Hilton Perth, Mantra on Murray, Crown Promenade and Crowne Plaza Perth.
The lists were compiled based on Wotif reviews for the 12 months up until June 1.
Australia’s top hotel, according to the website, is the Langham Melbourne, which narrowly beat out The Westin Sydney for the crown.
“There’s no denying The Langham in Melbourne is an iconic luxury property, which prides itself on its impeccable standard of service,” Wotif product director Donna Rodios said.
“Its number one ranking by Wotif.com reviewers evidences The Langham’s focus on quality service and ensuring a superior guest experience.”
Ms Rodios said Wotif had recently published its millionth review of an Australian hotel property, which was more than any other website.
