On Wednesday August 20 to Friday August 22, IIR Conferences in association with Wanati Pty Ltd is conducting a training course entitled Critical Reputation & Stakeholder Management in the Resources & Utilities Industry Seminar at the Duxton Hotel.
The seminar has been designed for public relations, community relations and marketing and external affairs professionals who need the latest best practise strategies and tools for reputation measurement and management, indigenous and community partnering and government lobbying.
Key issues that will be addressed during the seminar include, techniques and tools to measure and manage the organisations reputation and stakeholders; the planning and implementation of lobbying activity; and negotiated commercial solutions in community engagement, cultural heritage and native title.
The seminar will be presented by Edith Cowan University, change and human resources management lecturer, Scott Gardner; Association of Mining and Exploration Companies, former chief executive officer, George Savell; and Wanati Pty Ltd, principal, John Clarke.
