Creasy buys $4.5m Nedlands site

Mining entrepreneur Mark Creasy has bought the building housing Nedlands Auto Repairs from Alan Tribe’s Delarge Investments for $4.5 million.

The 25 Carrington Street property, occupied by Nedlands Auto Repairs and Stone Polishing Centre, comprises of two 696 square metre lots, in an area zoned commercial.

LJ Hooker Commercial Perth, who brokered the deal, said the 1,392sqm site offered development potential.

“A prime site, placed in a popular city fringe location, the property suited predominately the owner occupier and developer market,” LJ Hooker Commercial Perth principal Brian Neo said.

“The offering will enable the buyer flexibility to eventually develop and accommodate their own requirements.”

LJ Hooker Commercial Perth sales and leasing executive Jack Bradshaw said the property attracted more than 80 enquiries in 10 days.

The Nedlands property contains a 385sqm workshop, 529sqm two-storey office and warehouse, with direct access to arterial roads linking to Stirling Highway.

Delarge Investments purchased the asset for $3.6 million in 2017. 

Both tenants' leases expire within 12 months.
