Cougar snaps up zone

COUGAR Metals has reported the identification of a new high-grade zone at the Light of Asia Prospect at its Cue Goldfield project. Historical production from the Light of Asia – Queen of the May Mines yielded a total of 60,572 ounces of gold from 78,318 tonnes of ore at an average grade of 24 grams per tonne.

The latest intersections are considered consistent with historical production. The drilling indicates an apparent continuity of the gold bearing quartz vein along at least 300 metres of strike and 100m down dip. Signs indicate that further mineralisation may be identified and the strike of the gold bearing quartz vein lengthened.
