Coral scientist to join Curtin University

Zoe Richards, an upcoming scientist who has exposed a biological treasure trove in the Bonaparte Archipelago and discovered several species of coral, will be joining Curtin University in July, 2016.

Dr Zoe will more from WA Museum to Curtin’s Department of Environment and Agriculture to continue her work under a Research Fellowship. She has been working with Curtin, The University Of Western Australia and the Museum of Tropical Queensland to investigate why little known coral reefs in Australia’s Kimberley region are prospering while other reefs around the world are feeling the heat.
