Coogee makes changes at the top

COOGEE Chemicals and sister company, Coogee Resources, have both appointed new chief executives with Coogee Resources also appointing a new chairman.Coogee Resources’ major shareholder Gordon Martin (pictured top) has taken the role of chief executive, following Peter Hood’s retirement last month, while non-executive director John Akehurst (pictured bottom) has been appointed chairman.Mr Martin will continue as chairman of Coogee Chemicals, which has appointed former Shell executive, Phil Thick, as its acting CEO. Mr Thick joined the company as a non-executive director last year.
