Advertising and marketing agencies Marketforce and Longtail have won new contracts with Avivo and the Chamber of Minerals and Energy of Western Australia respectively.

Advertising and marketing agencies Marketforce and Longtail have won new contracts with Avivo and the Chamber of Minerals and Energy of Western Australia respectively.

Homecare services provider Avivo has appointed Marketforce to transform its digital communications in response to reform in the disability, aged care and mental health sectors.

Marketforce will be tasked with improving the user experience of Avivo’s digital communications and reviewing the way in which Avivo delivers services, communicates with staff and clients, and manages teams.

Marketforce chief executive Paul Everingham said he was pleased Avivo chose to work with the firm.

“This win is tangible evidence of the digital expertise that resides within Marketforce,” he said.

Marketforce digital creative lead Chris Andrawes, who will manage the design for the project for Avivo, said researching the users of the website was key to creating informed design decisions.

“When the research is backed up by our iterative prototyping working model, we create some really powerful user experiences,” he said.

Meanwhile, the CME has appointed Longtail to develop and execute a new positioning strategy for the resources sector.

Longtail founder and chief executive Carlo Bertozzi said the resources sector had many positive stories to tell that were often unexplored as part of corporate social responsibility projects.

“Our job is to get those stories into the broader public domain and explore the narratives through a different lens, with a strong focus on native content and co-creation,” he said.

CME chief executive Reg Howard-Smith said the chamber was looking forward to sharing a more holistic perspective of the industry.

He said Longtail's vision was quite different from anything the CME had done in the past.
