Osborne Park
Very concerned about potential traffic build up in the Mends Street, Mill Point Road precinct of South Perth. With 4 new developments in that confined area there is potential for massive congestion entering the freeway.

There will a new South Perth train station at west end of Charles Street to relieve the pressure of traffic brought by the high rise developments in the area.

lThe South Perth Station has been removed from all forward estimates in the state budget, so to all intents and purposes, it is no longer under consideration for at least 15 years. The Labour Party has also stated that for them it would be a very low priority.

South Perth
Is that right Eli - the phantom train station has been removed from the State Budget. It's not even on the wish list of either party! The station has been the excuse to get high rise into South Perth - the biggest problem is most of the high rises are outside the catchment. This one is over a k away and it has 220 car bays! Go figure ?
