Consortium takes on HR needs

A MOUNT Lawley-based human resources company has been formed through an alliance of specialist independent HR consultants.

Superior Human Resources is a new arm of Superior Personnel, a thirteen year old company.

Superior Personnel managing director Rosalind Fanowrios said the new alliance was a co-operative arrangement as distinct from being a hierarchical consortium.

“We are bound together in a non-commercial way to help others find answers and get commercial results,” Ms Fanowrios said.

“The team we have built is hand-picked and brings together individuals with various specialist skills from both government and non-government sectors.

“Many large HR companies spread themselves thinly over a number of industries.

“We cover a wide range of sectors but our staff has the methodologies and experience to be considered leading specialists in their respective areas.”

Ms Fanowrios said large organisations might use a number of HR firms to cover the needs of various departments.

Superior HR has set itself up as a ‘one stop shop’ to counteract this inefficiency.

Ms Fanowrios said the company’s working relationships were dynamic.

“Working with owner-operators means the ideas are flying around one after the other,” she said.

“We have also hand-picked strategic partners including Southern Staff Management, a recruiting and HR company servicing companies in Bunbury and the surrounding areas, and Strudwick HR, a Kalgoorlie-based recruitment and selection consultancy.

“Strategic Human Resources provides assistance on the delivery of human resources and employee relations services.

“Transearch, an international specialist executive search provider, is another strategic partner and, with senior partner Brian Mason, we have access to one of the top executive headhunters in WA.

“In all, we have twelve individual consultants and five strategic alliances all imbued with local knowledge of the distinct WA market,” she said.
