The Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA is hosting an interactive workshop for businesses looking to achieve success in China, April 28 and May 5 at the CCI Centre in East Perth. This two-day workshop is aimed at helping participants develop an understanding of China and its business culture along with a greater degree of confidence when conducting business with China. The special presenter at the event will be Stephen Choo, who is currently the senior research officer at the University of Western Australia. He is an experienced international consultant, trainer and educator in cross-cultural communication. On day one, Mr Choo will provide participants with an insight into the key cultural influences that are shaping the nation. Day two will focus on the negotiation styles used by Chinese businesses and critical strategic decisions facing all foreign decision makers when investing in China. A similar event will be held about conducting business in India on May 2. Registration for this event costs $770 for CCI members and $880 for non members, with one day only registration available.
