The WA Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) is holding a two-day interactive workshop for businesses looking to achieve success in China. The workshop will be held on Friday
April 22 and Friday April 29 at the CCI Function Centre, 180 Hay St, East Perth.
With its entry into the World Trade Organisation, China represents the single largest business opportunity
in the world. Participants can develop an understanding of China’s business culture and a greater degree of confidence when conducting business
in or with China.
Topics covered on day one include awareness of major elements of the Chinese culture, understanding cross-cultural differences, better cross-communication skills, understanding Chinese business etiquette and protocol, and the intricacies of marketing to the Chinese.
Day two focuses on understanding the negotiation style used by Chinese businesses, and making strategic decisions when investing in China.
One-day registrations cost $440 for CCI members and $660 for non-members. Registration for both days is $770 for members and $1155 for non-members.
