THE Cole commission this week recommended 12 people be investigated by a new taskforce for possible criminal and corporations offences over the Iraq kickbacks scandal. Commissioner Terence Cole recommended a joint taskforce be set up to investigate the alleged offences, including Australian Federal Police, Victoria Police and the Australian Securities and Investments Commission. Mr Cole named 11 former AWB executives - including former chairman Trevor Flugge, former chief executive Murray Rogers and former chief financial officer Paul Ingleby - to be investigated under the taskforce.
