Clough has won a $350 million contract at Chevron’s Wheatstone liquefied natural gas project off the coast of Western Australia.
The 40-month deal will see Clough provide labour, materials and a support vessel for the offshore hook-up and commissioning component of the Wheatstone project.
Project management will be executed from the company’s Perth head office, with engineering and technical teams deployed at its fabrication yard in Korea and the offshore platform, Clough said.
Chief executive Kevin Gallagher said the project would see Clough employ more than 300 people.
"As an Australian contractor, Clough is proud to be selected by Chevron for this significant Western Australian project" Mr Gallagher said.
"We will draw on our comprehensive offshore execution and commissioning experience in the North West Shelf region to deliver the best possible outcome for Chevron and their partners".
At 9:00AM WST Clough stocks had gained 5.6 per cent, to trade at 75 cents.
