Clean sale for Amway

THE former home of Amway Australia in Balcatta recently sold for $1.5 million.

The 2,445 square metre building on 5,339 square metres of land at 140 Balcatta Road was originally marketed by Stanton Hiller Parker for lease but later marketed for sale and lease.

According to Stanton Hiller Parker sales negotiator Chad Henville, there has been a general trend that properties lingering on the market with the intention of being leased have instead sold.

In other sales, 18 Hasler Road, Herdsman was sold for $1.9 million, 104 Walters Drive, Herds-man went for $1.1 million and 21 Prindiville Drive, Wangara was sold for $725,000.

Mr Henville believes the trend is due in part to “low interest rates and the current shortage of vacant freehold properties for sale in the northern metropolitan region.”
